The problem involved the location of the room and handicapped accessibility including parking. I had explained our needs when making the reservation and I was assured that we would be given a room close to the entrance and the elevator. There was also only one handicapped parking spot near the entrance, which was often already taken. This hotel has added a convention center, but it still has only one elevator to service the entire facility.

The Ramada Inn hotel was the closest to the people I was visiting, it was close to town, it had a nice attached restaurant and it was a good value. It was also clean and comfortable.

They provide good service. The hotel has a nice location.

They need later closing times for the workout area and pool. The room temperature and air flow need to be corrected in the rooms. Employees need to be more aware of the area to provide info on places of interest. The hotel is in a convenient location, though.

The hotel is a bit chopped up, it has been renovated and part of it still a drive-up style motel. The location is nice, it’s close enough to Penn State, but also far enough away.

Their staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, etc. The pool area can be a bit noisy, so if you want quiet, ask to be away from it.

It was clean and comfortable. There were no problems.

This hotel apparently has an excellent management team - every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. Having both an indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool makes traveling with kids pleasant no matter what time of year or when the weather is! I would highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed swimming in the pool.

I was there for special occasion. The food served for our buffet meal was excellent. The sautee line was too long, even though there were 2 lines. Maybe they should have put it in the middle of the rest of buffet or separate from other food.

Ramada has been our hotel of choice in state college for the past 5 years, since our oldest son applied to college at Penn State. We never stay anywhere else.
