Ramada Inn Quantico Hotel - Page 1

Hotel very inflexible with arrival/daparture times & dates - wanted to charge for everything. Staff civil but not curteous. Rooms superficially clean (stained carpet/chairs). Recent "renovation" superficial - example: granite glued on over tile in tub/shower surround, tile still shows 1-2 inches all around. Would not recommed unless no other options in area. Many nicer hotels at exit 143 that may seem more expensive but after all of the tacked-on charges at Ramada, you're paying that much anyway.

Privately owned so there are some quirky "rules" that would be considered good customer service at other hotels - like late check out, flexible reservations all come with a related charge. Recent renovation superficial only. Cleanliness is superficial. Employees are civil, not curteous.

The hotel staff was less than friendly and accommodating. The maid service was severely lacking.

My husband was graduating from Officer candidate school in August. Unfortunately, due to a family sickness I thought I would not be able to join him in this ceremony. It wasn't until last minute that my plans changed so that I could surprise him. Before leaving, I researched some reviews from previous guests. After reading the reviews it was decided that I would not be staying at the Ramada inn. It wasn’t until the hotel on base was sold out that I was forced to stay at the Ramada. There was no way I was going to stay at the sleazy-looking hotel down the street from the Ramada and it was 3 am and I did not feel like driving to another location. To my surprise everything at the Ramada Inn was the exact opposite to what I had read in the reviews.

The front desk clerk was more than happy to help me unload my luggage to my room. Before I could even ask, he offered me a crib for one of my youngest children. There was even fresh coffee in the lobby at 3:15 am! The rooms were very much clean, comfortable, and cozy. Even the standard rooms come with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a blow dryer! (What more could I ask for with 4 children?) They had complimentary breakfast in the morning where my children and I enjoyed making our own waffles. Overall, my stay at the Ramada Inn was great! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone

There was no elevator and the staff was rude.
