I didn't have any real problems with this place. It's not in the nicest of neighbor hoods and the busy traffic outside can be irritating. The parking lot is small, but I never had trouble with my car. I have been here twice, and might consider staying again.

I am writing this review on their free wi-fi. Everything seems ok, no problems to speak of. Staff is cool. The room is clean, a huge thing for me. This isn't the Ritz, but it ain't a Motel 6 either. I'd tell people to stay here.

I try to read a lot of reviews for places and I don't like to nit pick things, so please take my word for it... stay some place else. First off, the place is situated in a not so nice area of town (I'm originally from the Newark NJ area so for me to say that says a lot). The girl at the front desk was very nice...but she was a pretty scary character... this didn't say much for first impressions. When I opened the front door, I first noticed that they had to re -inforce the door jam as it looked like the door was kicked in at some point...not cool. The safe to the room was busted so forget leaving anything valuable in that room... the elevator was a bit sketchy, the beds were ok, and the room did have a fridge and microwave so that was cool... The fact that there were kids that were doing cannon ball dives off the beds on to the floor in the room above me all night was nothing the hotel could really control, but it took 3 calls to the front desk to get them to understand why I wanted them to go up there to get the kids to stop... the person who answered the phone (who wasn't the same person at check in) didn't seem to care that I was annoyed with the ruckus upstairs, which I didn't think was cool...
In the end it was a bad experience and I would not recommend staying there.

Great location, just down the road from the beach. Staff was excellent! I used the gym, and it had free weights! I've never seen that at a hotel before. The breakfast was plentiful, good variety. The little mart next to the front desk was very helpf
I read some reviews but heard that the hotel has new management and it was a convenient location -- I stayed and truly enjoyed myself. I would come back again. Very friend and courteous staff too.

About a mile down the main street to the beach/pier. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were good and I liked the fitness center in the mornings ( not a huge center but met my needs)

I must admit that when I went looking for moderately priced hotels in San Diego and after reading the reviews from 2 years ago, I was more than hesitant in booking at the Ramanda Inn in Oceanside. But, to my great pleasure this hotel was an excellen
