Ramada Inn Ocean Shores Hotel - Page 1

We arrived late in the evening and were very tired from our long ride. We were greeted by a very helpful and efficient staff. When we asked about somewhere to eat the front desk agent called the restaurant and asked the cook if they would stay open a few minutes later and fix us a meal we could take to our room. No problem and it was a great meal and medium priced. Out whole stay was great. We found the staff very helpful , the hotel clean and the water park kept the kids occupied during a rainy day. We will definately go back.

I received this note from the manager after filling out a survey about my stay. Though we booked our room through the Ramada website, and indicated exactly how many people would be staying in the room, we were charged more upon arrival. IF no rooms were available at this rate, we should have been notified, not overcharged. If you choose to travel to Ocean Shores, you will see that there are several hotels that don't require a hike through thick vegetation in order to reach the beach!

Your room & rate change were because of the fact you reserved a

room with 1 queen size bed for 5 persons. This change was made

in an effort to accommodate your family in a comfortable manner

and enhance your beach experience on a very busy weekend. With

this room change there is also a rate change which was passed on

to you. I have thanked the staff member who recognized your

booking error and corrected the situation prior to your arrival

as there would have been no solution had the problem not been

discovered early.

Additionally, the laws of Washington State prohibit building any

closer on the beach to protect the natural habitat. The city

does have several beach access points for your conveniece to

drive onto the beach. All of the hotels in Ocean Shores are the

same distance from the water due to these laws.

At check-in, the clerk went out of her way to get us into a room with a view. The restaurant and bar was under renovation which was slightly inconvenient.

This hotel made me feel important: The desk staff was very accommodating and gracious when we asked about getting a room with a view of the ocean. There was no additional charge imposed.

They had a rude staff, a dirty bed and furniture, rude management (she hung up on me), horrible parking, and it was noisy. They charged me after giving a receipt of no charges!

The front desk staff was wonderful. I reserved after the cut-off date for the convention discount, but the reservation clerk honored it anyway. When we arrived, the staff happily found us a room with a view at no additional cost.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
