I generally don't write negative reviews, but this place deserves it. We initially booked the room through Priceline for 1 week - paid for in advance. We called them to request a smoking room, and the receptionist said that he noted the request. No

The lady at the desk was very nice. The bed was wonderful, too, and there was a lovely little welcome letter on the bedside table. All the hotel needed was a new carpet in the common areas and new windows as the single-pane slider doors in the rooms were very chilly, with condensation. The toiletries were fine. We would recommend this place to anyone.
We liked the comfortable beds. We slept like babies. It was great for all of us to rest so well. Plus, the people at the desk were so friendly.
I am very likely
to return to the Ramada Inn Grand Junction.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Okay
the room and sheets were clean, the airconditioning and bathroom worked fine. The non-smoking room really was non-smoking, no tobacco stink, as often happens in the cheaper hotels. Carpets and furniture are well-worn and looking tired.

The front desk got our reservations mixed up and charged us for 2 nights stay instead of one. Then it took over 30 days to get a credit for the mix up.
