I had stayed at another hotel the night before because honestly it was cheaper but the room and service was horrible. So Sat. morning I got up early to find a hotel and almost everyone was packed. My boyfriend had told me that he went to this hotel 2 years ago for a conference and it was great. HE WAS RIGHT. I walked in and check in was at 2 or 3 but I haven't even had brushed my teeth so they went out of their way to make sure that I got a room asap. Josh (who was at the front) was so nice and helped out so much that I wouldn't be able to say enough nice things about him. They all were great! The room was very clean and the pillows were fluffy. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's alot better inside.

Some friends and I were down in Wilmington for Memorial Day and decided to stay here. I thought it was a pretty nice hotel. The staff was generally friendly and the rooms were clean. It wasn't anything fancy, but not bad at all for the price.

The lobby is deceiving. It looks nice and the staff was helpful, but could not speak english well.
The "Deluxe Breakfast" was hardly that.
There was a black scum ring around the pool.
The room was musky and damp, but the worst part was when I woke up in the middle of the night to discover a painful itchy rash of blisters on my side. I only found out later from my doctor that these were bed bug bites after I returned home.
This hotel is unsafe and should be shut down.
This was a group of the National Guard and their families. What a shame!

Horrible
The room was disgusting-old, dirty, loose outlets, insufficient lighting. We went to the front desk to complain and they offered to change our room. The second room was slightly better, but still awful (why not offer the better room to begin with?). ...
Property recommended as "pet friendly".

stayed here 9.14.07 - 9.16.07. I was so disappointed. We booked several rooms because we were there for a family celebration w/many of the family members driving a great distance to be there.
A chair in one room broke the first time someone sat in it. The hotel was reluctant to replace it. I was put in a room that had the cover to the A/C laying in the floor. They moved us to a room that had 5 foot cracks in the wall. The rooms were very humid even w/the a/c on. In various of the rooms, doors squeaked, light switches didn't work, lights bulbs were so low in wattage that they barely lit a room. The fitted sheets didn't stay on the mattress. The blankets had holes in them. The selection of toilet paper and kleenex were sub-par (truly).
The hallway carpets were dirty. The entry/exit door to the parking lot had broken panes of glass that looked as if someone had tried to break in.
The "deluxe" continental breakfast was refrigerator cold muffins, cereal, bagels, fruit past its prime. However, you could make a waffle, if you desired.
The staff parked in the space where a guest would normally park during check in. They were parked there every time we came/went.
It looked as though they were attempting redecorating. The carpet and bedspread looked as if they were newer and trying to be southwestern (why in NC you'd do that?)...and the wallpaper border and light fixtures didn't fit the s-western decor or the color it appeared the new decor was heading towards.
Several times, members of our party would go to the desk for something, but couldn't find anyone there.
I was so disappointed because I made the reservations based on the Ramada Inn photos for Wilmington NC...and all my family was staying there. I spent the Entire weekend apologizing to everyone. I just couldn't believe how bad this place was.

What a dump. Clerk was a obnoxious jerk, bathrooms were filthy, the room stank like fecal matter, walls were water stained. This place was the absolute worse place I have ever visited. DO NOT STAY HERE. In a high crime area.

I consistently find my stays at any Ramada hotel at or above levels consistent with so called five star adventures. It offers reasonable rates with a more than satisfactory staff.
I am very likely
to return to the Ramada Conference Center Wilmington.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
