As a Floridian resident who usually spends the night in 2 and 3-star sorts of motels in the Disney area, this motel ranks very high for me.
We arrived many hours passed check-in time and the staff was courteous taking my paranoid phone calls making sure they didn't give my rooms away. We were welcomed by Steve when we came in and he made small-talk with us, instead of rushing us out of his sight.
Our rooms had clean carpets, new furniture and was pretty much immaculate everywhere. It didn't possess the musty smell of guests past. The room was a little larger than most standard motel rooms. Towels, soaps and shampoos (Pantene, not Jhermack, for the record) were replenished everyday. Requests for more towels were taken care of.
Important: Do not choose a room near the Holidome if you're looking for quiet evenings and peacefully silent mornings. However, if you like a lively atmosphere and don't mind the sounds of life, reserve away! Our children loved being able to play just beneath our room at the pool table, ping pong tables and air hockey table. They enjoyed running rampant in the open area of the Holidome, partaking in their own noise-making, then chatting in the festively decorated lounge area (just tables for meetings or a snack) on the second floor.
Important too: Verify that the waterslide is working and that there are no water shortages preventing its use before you go, if this is important to you. It was off for four of our five days there. We enjoyed the pool, spa, and sauna, though.
The laundry facilities are mediocre, but present. They have one washer, and one dryer, 75 cents apiece. The dryer takes a while to dry ($1.50 worth), guests aren't always on top of their laundry. Make a note to find laundry facilities elsewhere. I had a great customer service experience with both Mario and Josh with regard to my own laundry conundrum.
The door locks work so well, even you can't open them. A front desk will happily replace your key card though.
The people who work there really make the difference. Normally, I would have been upset by the pool and the fact that the website at the time showed a refrigerator in the room that didn't exist in our rooms, but their helpfulness and generosity really calmed my normally hot Floridian temper.

Mediocre
All Review Photos We chose this hotel for two reasons: the pool area and the fact they accepted pets. The hotel was easy to locate, it was only 1/2 mile off Highway 135. The room was priced $94 a night with a $25 non-refundable cost for the pets...

I usually do not use room service, but I made an exception this time. I forgot what time I had ordered it, but when it arrived the food was better than I expected.
