After reading some of the reviews I was reluctant to visit the hotel, but noticed the dates on most negative reviews were old. Therefore I decided to give the hotel a try and see if any improvements were made. I was very surprised. The hotel has new ...
Wish We Had Stayed There Our Whole Visit

Excellent
First of all, I don't usually write reviews (though I read them all the time) but I wanted to spread a few good words about the Ramada Asheville. My wife and I came to visit her sister who lives in Asheville. We stayed the majority of our trip ...
“Great Location for family!”

Excellent
The place was exactly what we were looking for: clean, quiet, spacious.
We stayed three nights while vacationing in Asheville. Great location! Less than 10 minute drive to downtown area as well as the Biltmore. Nice sized room. Comfy bed. with ...
The King Suite was shabby: furniture worn, hole in ceiling over jacuzzi, black lace panties left under baggage stand, carpet stained and threadbare. Would not pay price for these accomodations again. Desk staff not responsive to our concerns about...
Outside door into room "hall" would not lock electronically. I had to contact the front office (person on duty pretty non-responsive and unprofessional) and get them to finally lock the door manually for the night. Maintenance looks like...
58 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business
This has to be one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. If we complain, the management treats us like idiots and argues. The light plugs (2) didn't work...they argued. They finally fixed it. The phone didn't work right....and we didn't get our messages. We still cannot get them. The room had no phone book....no informational papers....nothing. Not even the usual fire safety map and instructions! When I asked about where this stuff was, I was told it was on our little check in card paper...which lists check in time, check out time and time of breakfast. Period. The hotel advertises a daily newspaper as part of your room. When we had been here 4 days and still no paper, I asked where my paper was. I was told they only get 10 a day, and 'they go fast'. A lie then. We went for days with the same soaps and shampoos, etc that we got on check in. This has been a disaster. They have a little section in the lobby where you can buy mouthwash, toothbrush etc but they have it marked outrageously high....much cheaper to just run to the store. Most nice hotels don't even charge you for this stuff! I had to take a shower cap off a maids cart to get one. they do have one computer to use in the lobby..but no paper in the printer. It just goes on and on. Apparently this is newer management here...at one time this was a nice hotel. These people are the cheapest people I've ever seen. I am telling everyone not to stay here. I am going to report this place to the Ramada Headquarters. This hotel is an embarrassment to the good Ramada name.
