Radisson Worldgate Resort

My family went the week before Presidents' Day Weekend and we really enjoyed the hotel. After reading the reviews, I was a little nervous, so I called to request that we receive a room with Sleep Number Beds, because I heard that those were better rooms.

The shuttle service is RIGHT on time, so don't even be one minute late or you'll miss it.

DO NOT try to get a deal on tickets by going to the timeshare speech. IT is definitely more than 90 minutes. That was our mistake.

Overall, the hotel was fine though. Clean hotel, pool area is nice, pretty good eating options, and good service - They kept checking on us.:)

Our hotel stay at the Radisson was great. We were not in the hotel enough to worry about the view, which was great, we were in room 214 and we had a view of the back lot which was nice so we could see the sunset. It was my first trip to Florida and the hotel was perfect, huge room, loved the air conditioner. Within a view short miles of all the parks that we went to. The pool was nice, after a long day at the parks, the hotel staff were very helpful, and were very polite.

On an average, I go to Florida twice a year. While there, I usually stay at the Radisson Resort Orlando - Celebration. This particular time I booked at the last minute ( Labor Day). As a result, I did not get to stay at my son's favorite hotel. Since our normal hotel was booked, I thought I would fine the next best hotel, which is the Radisson Worldgate Resort ( BIG MISTAKE). Here are my complaints:

1. The bed was damp. I thought that maybe the air conditioner in the room was up too high. So I turned the air conditioner off, and headed to MGM park & dinner. We were gone for over eight hours. When we arrived back at the hotel, the bed was still damp.

2. The view was awful. We were in room 243. The view was the adjacent building.

3. The floor in the room was dirty, and the room needs to be updated.

4. The bottom of the air conditioner was exposed.

We will never stay at that Radison again.

I picked Radisson simply because of the sleep number bed. $99.00 a nite for that area isn't bad at all. It was a really nice room. Very clean. The bed was incredible. I had only two complaints - the pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks and the shower set-up in our room was quite possibly the worst I've ever encountered. Large "garden" type tub, but the shower head was never moved forward. You had to point the shower head almost straight out and lean back to get your head wet. Great water pressure in the tub, but almost none for the shower. It took me almost 10 minutes just to wash my face and hair. I got so frustrated with it I gave up. Figured I was rinsed off and we were going home!

I liked the large pool and the location in reference to Orlando attractions. The room was nice and clean, a little small, but we could not get the room to a comfortable temperature. It was incredibly humid inside. The sleep number bed was great.
