Hotel staff was great and the hotel itself was perfect! The hotel has its own restaurant, two huge pools, a tennis court and its perfectly located in walking distance from the beach. The rooms were perfectly spacious and an extra rollaway bed was provided at no extra cost. We will definitely come to this same hotel on our next get away!
The Radisson Resort (South Padre Island) has recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation and is now the Isla Grand Beach Resort. Great accomodations, staff and spa.
I really like the island, will go back.

Okay
I really like the island, will go back. The two room suite was old, outdated and felt dirty. My issue was the dirty part. Carpet felt dirty and needs to be replaced. The room (suites) I was told was independently owned and the hotel should see to it ...

Excellent
I decided to stay in one of the condos on the beach and it was worth it! I had space to spread out and relax. This is a great place for families too! The service was great, and the food was delicious. I would definitely stay here for my next...

4606 IS A MESS. WE SPENT 5 HOURS CLEANING IT AFTER WE CHECKED IN. IT IS OWNED BY AL BOTTINO AND HE HASN'T SPENT MUCH MONEY REMODELING IT SINCE IT OPENED. THERE WAS MOLD IN BOTH BATHROOMS AND THE CARPETS ARE EXTREMELY DIRTY IN THE BEDROOMS. THE BEDS SLEEP LIKE ROCKS. WE HAD A LIST OF 15 ITEMS THAT NEEDED ATTENTION! IT IS CHEAP TO RENT, BUT STILL NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!! THE REST OF THE HOTEL IS REALLY NICE. WE WERE IN TWO OTHER UNITS AND THE OWNERS SEEM TO TAKE CARE OF THESE UNITS.

I have always enjoyed staying at the Radisson hotel. It is clean and it is in close proximity to everything on the island. The only problem we had was that our air conditioning unit did not cool well. We were brought a fan that helped keep the room at a better temperature.
We were made to feel welcome the moment we entered the lobby. We were greeted and our check in went smoothly. Anyone we spoke to was warm and friendly.
I am very likely
to return to the Radisson Resort South Padre Island.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It was outstanding except for the number beds. I could not find a number that was comfortable. They are basically aero beds and not at all what I have come to expect from a Radisson hotel.

Mediocre
I realize that Radisson doesn't own the condos they rent at this facility. However, i can only hold them responsible for this disaster. I reserved a two Bdrm condo months in advance. Upon check-in I was assigned to, I believe, #4123. There was a...

Horrible
I foundfound myself with my wife in South Padre, Texas the weekend of Sept. 15th. I am writing to tell you about our miserable experience at this hotel. (More motel actually)
We decided to stay at the Radisson for the last two nights of our...
