The immediate problems with check-in should have been the first hint. We booked a king room but was given a standard double. They did say we could switch if a king room became available, but who wants to repack everything, and decided to let that slide. While it was in a good location, the hotel is dated. The room's temperature is either too hot, or too cold. The bathroom is extremely small, the toilet takes up the majortity of the space. The hall noise was terrible, each room door was heard every time another guest came or went usually in the early morning or late night while we were trying to sleep.
At checkout, we were overcharged $30 a night because the staff could not, or most likely would not, check the fax sent by the booking company telling them the rate we were given. I left extremely upset putting a damper on our vacation. We are still trying to resolve the overcharging problem.
