Radisson Hotel at Los Angeles Airport

The upper management of this hotel should all be fired! Try to contact them. Try to deal with them. They must be extremely unhappy in their personal lives, since they try to make their guests stay as miserable as humanly possible. No decent phone service to speak of in the rooms. My room hadn't been cleaned all day. No body speaks english. What's new? Complaints fall on deaf ears. They should have paid me to stay there, not the other way around. Never again.

I stayed at Radisson LAX during a review course for my Board review for Pathology (Osler) since this is the hotel they had chosen. I shared the room with a colleague. When checking out we were asked for damage charges for a scratch to the TV stand although we had barely used the room except to sleep, let alone watch TV. On explaining they reversed the charges. Then instead of a two way split between us as promised, they charge us each the whole amount, my friend was charged a little less than me. People at the front desk have no clue of Math. I will be disputing these wrong charges.

Filthy, run-down, neglected hotel. Staff is poorly trained, supervision is incompetent. Most staff struggle to speak English. Food is marginal. Room Service is horrible!!! (could not get meal right in 4 different meals)

Vending machines don't work, OnCommand TV is not operational at hotel, yellow pages are not even available anywhere in the hotel.

Management is invisible, supervision is incompetent.

I made a reservation with a credit card for late arrival. I confirmed that evening of my arrival. I requested a king smoking room. Upon arrival, I was told there were no smoking rooms and no king rooms. My husband and I were expected to sleep in double beds. The woman at the front desk told me that reservations are a "courtesy" and never guaranteed. I queried as to why MY room was given away when I had a credit card reservation. Had I not shown up, they would have charged me for the room. All I received was a condescending, "I'm sorry ma'am". At this point, I insisted upon more than an apology and wanted an explanation as to why my paid room was unavailable. Lo and behold, a room suddenly appeared vacant. What is up with that? I travel extensively for business and pleasure and have NEVER had service such as this. Since a one-night standard room client is unimportant to Radisson LAX, they will not receive my 1+ week reservations either.

Everything went as smooth as it could be.
