My whole party was so disappointed in this hotel. While the staff was helpful and the location was good for Magnificant Mile shopping, that's about all I can say to recommend the hotel. First, for the money it is not a luxury hotel so don't expect your rooms to be anything more than a smaller version of a standard Courtyard by Marriott room. In fact, our room had smaller beds and the bathroom (nothing great at all) was smaller than a recent stay in a Red Roof Inn! If you are used to paying $200 or more a night and getting a luxury room, this is not the place.
But the biggie for us was the parking situation. Be very aware! The hotel was quick to inform me when I commented that they do not own or operate the parking facility. It's $44 a day and they leave your car unlocked with the keys INSIDE the unlocked vehicle. I asked to get something out of my car and was rudely asked what I needed to get. When we arrived at my car I was shocked that the keys were laying on the seat, my son's expensive gear bag was just sitting in an unlocked car, plus I had to get rude to even be allowed to get my sweater out. I was briskly informed that leaving the cars open with the keys inside was the proceedure. Tip: park at one of the city lots for $12 where they lock your car!
