The parking garage is too low, not allowing us to park our truck w/ motorcycle in it. The rooms are very, very small. There was long black hair all over the bedding. The tv is very old and picture is very poor. Housekeeping entered our room even ...

Excellent
I stayed at this Radisson cause I knew the name brand. I was very impressed with the staff, the experience, and the overall aroma of this lovely hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Lady at the desk in the morning was very good....

hotel hell. What a nightmare the whole building was under construction while I stayed there. They even had contractors living in the room next to me, bringing tools in and out all night. I complained to the staff but all they could say is that was why the price was so low. I am so mad that I intend to write my own web page in a searing complaint. Since obviously the management will never address my complaints. Next time, I will rather stay in hell.
I am not likely
to return to the Radisson Hotel Phoenix City Center.
I would not recommend it to friends.

I read all the reviews about this place before I even booked my stay and found the only complaint was that it was too noisy from remodeling. I called them up directly and asked if they were still remodeling. The man I spoke with said "Nope, we're done. All we're working on is the bar now". So I went ahead and made my reservation. I have not been to Phoenix since I was a child, so of course I got lost and had to call for directions. He was very nice and helped me find the place. I first saw it and thought "This seems OK". I went inside and found the lobby to be very beautiful. They had new tile floors and pretty decor. I told the man I had a reservation and could he please find me a quiet room. He said "All of our rooms are quiet". I did not like the fact I had to park far away and there is only one entrance to the hotel. I went to my room and no sooner did I put my stuff down that the kid in the next room started screaming. I quickly went back down to the lobby and said "You're going to have to move me, I don't like screaming kids". So he promptly moved me to the third floor. I was surprised that the bathroom was very pretty. it had nice new tile, a bathroom sink, a mirror and a bathtub. Yet the carpet in the room was stained and looked to be older than me. I picked up my boyfriend and we settled in for the night. Just as we were closing our eyes, we heard men screaming in the hallway and doors slamming. This went on for 10 minutes. I called the front desk and said "You're going to have to move me again". He apologized for the noise and said it was a hockey team making all the noise. He moved us to another room once more and we finally got to sleep. We were awoken by sounds of, you guessed it, remodeling. There were saws buzzing, hammering, and banging. I guess they weren't done remodeling after all. I wanted a soda and the soda machine wouldn't take my money, so I had to go to another floor. The only ice machine in the entire place was on the second floor, so I had to go all the way down there to get ice. The room itself was clean, but I was confused as to why they would remodel some things and not others. It was a very strange experience to say the least. It was a good price, and convenient to other shops, but I'm not sure I would want to go through any of that again.

Good
The room was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is definately in the middle of being renovated, but it appears that is is going to be absolutely fabulous when the renovations are completed.
