Radisson Hotel Largo Washingon DC

I recently visited this hotel and I was very disappointed. The room service was hard to get in contact with and every time I called they were too busy to take orders. In the evening I called for a good hour and by the time someone had called me back the kitchen had closed for the night. I was then given a comp. breakfast ticket from the manager however, he failed to explain that this was only valid at the buffet at 6:00 a.m. Housekeeping let themselves into my room without knocking and thank God I had on clothes. After that the lady kept coming back every 30 mins telling me she wanted to clean the room finally I just checked out because i had enough. Later once I received my credit card statement it was discovered that they had charged my card twice I had to call them several times in order to get the manager to call me back to fix the problem. All in all, i would tell you to try somewhere else because for the $250.00 that was paid for two nights (I only stayed one)I was simply not pleased!

Lobby was warm and stuffy; linens were clean (I hope) but permanently stained and had holes; Sleep Number bed not in all rooms as advertised; remote for our bed was missing; fire alarm went off three times in three hours of the early morning causing guests to evacuate to the parking lot, including wheelchair guests who had to rely on the kindness of other guests to take them down the stairwells; no fire - just alarm system malfunction; no 'all clear' given to guests, just left standing out in rain; later learned same issue occured just the week prior; no offer of restitution made until demanded by tired, very frustrated guests; room AC never cooled room; trash in hallway; extremely noisey AC in hallway; will never stay there again.

I didn't expect this nice a hotel from a Radisson. It was a great surprise. The rooms are very contemorary and the design is really nice. My room had a flat screen tv. The staff was real friendly. They have adjustable beds - with a number - It was really cool. I had trouble finding the hotel from Fed ex field - but it is close.

The shuttle service to the metro was very helpful.
