Official Hotel Information
Was stuck in Denver overnight by a cancelled flight. Airline gave us 50% off this room rate. We called from airport to confirm room would be held. We were told this was not a problem and where we could wait to meet the free shuttle which made rounds every 15 minutes. After 50 minutes and 2 phone calls back to the hotel we needed a bathroom break and missed the first shuttle run while in restroom. Another 3 phone calls to an extremely indifferent desk operator and we finally gave up. We had been standing out in 50 degree cold in shorts for 1 1/2 hours total when we finally paid $50 for a taxi ride to this hotel. We would have stayed somewhere else gladly, but all other hotels we called were booked. Desk staff argued with us that their driver was making rounds at both the east and west ground transportation areas every 15 minutes, but somehow they were unable to contact the driver for the entire 1 1/2 hours...how is that possible if driver was dropping off guests every 15 minutes? Also, while asking about the morning shuttle service back to the airport we were interrupted by the staff member's walkie talkie announcing to her it was time for her smoke break with her friend!!
The hotel itself was nice and clean. Our room was nicely decorated and well kept. The sleep number beds only allow one setting per bed so my husband and I slept in separate beds as he likes a firmer bed than I do. My bed was very comfortable...for the 3 hours we were in the room due to the long wait to get there..., but my husband's bed kept leaking out air and leaving him in a totally deflated and very uncomfortable bed.
Overall, the experience was horrible mainly due to the hotel staff's poor service. Too bad a such a pretty hotel is run so poorly. No doubt by reading the other guest reviews this hotel will eventually feel the damage in their pocketbooks. Time for the owners to clean house!!!!

Fron desk did not know how to give proper directions to downtown. The gym room was in awful shape. The equipment didnt work and when I told the manager scott he said there was nothing he can do. I found my room open on the second night and the female gm Berdie siad I left it open. Made me fell very unsafe. We checked out a day early because we didnt get room service and the same manager said they stoped cleaning rooms after 2:00 beause they were slow.

They did not leave washcloths, they did not renew the teabags, they did not pick up dirty glasses and the entry light did not work. Also the pedestal sink did not have any room to lay out toiletries such as makeup. When the person came to see me after I made a complaint her only comment was the staff was not trained yet to observe these mistakes.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Radisson Hotel Denver Stapleton Plaza.

The hotel had grungy rooms, dirty carpet and a stained tub in the bathroom. They lost my reservation even though I had an email with a confirmation number. I had to argue to even get the room!

The lobby was very nice, but the rooms were slightly disappointing. There was absolutely no counter space in the bathroom so I had to store my toiletries on the floor and on the back of the commode. The first night I did not have any hand towels or washcloths. The rooms were also kind of cramped.

Wow! What decor in the rooms. Sleep number beds were wonderful. Kids had a wonderful time in Denver. We were tired when we came back to the hotel and it was very nice that the staff was wonderful and accommodating. we would definitely stay again. Oh yeah, the malls across the way was great.

Our hockey team was required to stay here by the tournament. Our players were required by contract to be quiet and polite or risk expulsion, however a Sweet 16 party was loud and out of hand. Employees told parents that the party had a contract to make as much noise as they wanted until midnight. The party subsequently became a very dangerous situation.
Several parents had to move rooms multiple times for various reasons including being booked into smoking rooms, non working air conditioners beds that were broken and being booked into occupied rooms. Check in took in excess on 30 minutes. Room service commonly took more than one hour and hotel employees are demoralized and non-responsive. For a "Yes I can" hotel, this is clearly a "No We Can't" hotel, so no- you shouldn't

I stayed for 10 nights on a business trip from the UK and would not have stayed out of choice. The desk staff seemed pre-occupied and always on the phone. The hotel lobby was dull and uninspiring. The rooms were small and dated with basic amenities and a dribbly 70's shower. My colleague complained 4 days in a row that his room had not been closed properly by cleaning staff each day meaning anyone could get in and help themselves to his computer equipment and personal belongings. This was dealt with every day by reception staff stating the manager was not available to speak to him. Upon checkout, the manager dealt with his complaint by stating this was no big deal as nothing had been stolen and aggravating the situation by not taking the complaint seriously. My colleague was incensed by the way his complaint was handled and did not back down. Eventually the duty manager put an end to the conversation by calling security to remove us from the hotel. The only saving grace were the breakfast staff always ready with a smile and could not do enough to please. It's these guys that earned the only 2 stars in my rating.
