Radisson Hotel DFW South Hotel - Page 1

The Radisson Hotel in Irving Texas, located close to the DFW airport was a gem. Nice hotel, clean rooms, indoor pool. Right next to expensive hotels and restaurants. The price was very affordable.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, and when we got in that room I said “Heck no!” The cheap bedding was very wrinkled. I automatically pulled off the comforter a little to see the sheets and they too were dirty, I looked at the pillow cases and they had lipstick marks on them.

I call the front desk and told them I was not staying in that dirty hotel, and yes, the hotel smelled bad, too. I then called Hotels.com and told them and they nicely placed my husband and myself in another hotel of our choice within price range or more and even discounted our bill $100.00.

We chose to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, right across from the Radisson. That was the nicest stay, it was immaculate, smell wonderful, our rooms cleaned everyday, the drivers of the shuttle van were the best, they were very hospitable and truly friendly to us. We even miss them. So, please if you want a truly nice place to lay your head and you care about cleanliness don't stay at the Radisson, the Hilton Garden Inn is a 10+ and them some. I will definitely be back to the Hilton. By the way the Radisson’s guests looked questionable, that one was all I needed to see.

Radisson, shame on you! I even feel bad for you because it is truly embarrassing when you can do better. There is a huge bar in the lobby but no one works at it, so no drinks. A big pool that had some man in it looking scruffy, you get the picture.

It's a nice hotel with friendly employees and a great location.

This hotel made me feel inspired: It was just a wonderful stay.

This hotel is the absolute worst. 1. They claim to have a shuttle from the airport. After waiting over an hour and 3 calls to the desk, I finally took a cab. 2. They charged my personal credit card instead of my business credit card, then refused to reverse the charges. 3. I was granted late checkout to make up for the poor shuttle service but they failed to inform the maid. The maid came by three times in one hour to see if I was out of the room yet. 4. The desk staff was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful.

I will never go back!
