This hotel stinks. Seriously the minute we entered the lobby, throughout the hotel and in our guest room we noticed a musty odor maybe from mildew or stale cigarette smoke. The hotel was poorly maintained and the carpet was dirty. We had planned...

First off let me say this...the beach sucks. It is mostly crushed sea shells not sand. It will tear up your feet so wear shoes. This was our second stay there, previous was in 1995 and it was much better then. The service was horrible. The lobby looks great but the rooms and halls smell of mildew and mold. If you have allergies avoid this place. The carpets were stained in the halls and in the rooms. The room was decently cleaned. BUT I brought my own pillow case which was obviously different than theirs and the maid took my 600 count Egyptian cotton pillow case and gave me their scratchy one. When I asked for it back they told me..."you can go through the laundry if you want". WTF! The service at dinning was horrible. It took 1 hour to get breakfast for 2 adults and one child. We had to wait 25 minutes just to give our order. But the catcher is this...there were only 3 tables with people including us! You also have to pay for your beach chair or anything else you want to use. It was utterly awful! The mildew smell was the worst. There is no excuse for that. You couldn't pay me to stay there again.

Services is totally NON Existent. Long, long wait at front desk to get to speak to catering staff/corporate reservations. Restrooms on the main floor were dirty and out of order. Staff was rude. We usually spend $50,000+ during a stay. Guess who lost our business!
