Radisson Hotel Chicago O'Hare Hotel - Page 2

The hotel is very old, if not obsolete, and needs major renovation, but the location is great, it’s on the Magnificent Mile. We got a room near the elevator and it was noisy. Generally, the isolation is very bad, you hear everybody who is in the corridor. Their service was above average, but the parking is very expensive, $39 per day. In my opinion, you can find a better deal in the Chicago downtown area.

The price was reasonable, but the beds were hard as rocks. But it's a very nice place, it has park and stay. I headed for Jamaica via Chicago O'Hare.

We waited over an hour to be picked up from the shuttle airport. They were slow to pick up the phone, slow when we checked in. They did not know anything about the hotel. Both restaurants were closed, we ordered room service. The food they suggested was disgusting and way overpriced. The rolls were stale; we were starving and still could not eat. The room was dirty, the bed had a spring in the middle of it, I could not sleep. The curtains could not close all the way and the view was of an alley. There was a bad mold smell and it took forever to get additional towels. The toilet ran all night, I could not sleep because of the noise. The television remote did not work. I would never stay there again.

I've always enjoyed staying at any Doubletree. My only problem this past time was that the reservation had been entered backward, and they had a difficult time pulling it up by my name.

This hotel made me feel content: Their rooms are of a comfortable size, and their pillow-top beds are extremely comfortable.

This hotel is in the perfect location, clean, and well-staffed.

The bathroom looked unfinished, like they were remodeling and just didn't quite get done finishing. Other than that, I loved this hotel. I definitely would stay again.

It was a beautiful hotel and my stay was relaxing and pleasant.

They were not very friendly at the desk and they did not have some of the complimentary items I asked for.

This hotel made me feel secure: It had adequate locks and security.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: They provided me a sure way back to the airport as I was traveling by myself. They also let me stay in the room an extra hour as my flight was leaving late in the afternoon.

It's pretty sad that they charge for Internet access when much less inexpensive hotels offer it for free and provide equipment to make my connection.

They could have used some entertainment.

We liked it because it was close to the local airport, and we could leave our car there at the motel while we were on a cruise for 8 days.
