Staff was very nice. The most important part of the hotel, the bed was awful. Just a note, if you have kids this hotel is not located in the best part of Charleston and I would not let them play outside of the hotel. If you want a good nights sleep I ...

NA.The location was unsafe and unsavory. As a single female traveler, I pulled up to this hotel and watched homeless people walk by with their shopping carts. The location looked dangerous.
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.Dirty, holes in carpet, owner yelling at us to leave. This was a horrible and terrible experience. The hotel room had urine on the bathroom floor, holes in the carpet, and nasty brown stuff on the covers. When asked for...
Location only.Front desk unprofessional, did not know which rooms to allot, made the mistake, did not even apologize for her mistake; should have gone to the manager, but not. Not recommended, unprofessional staff, not good with families, doesnt...
I was part of a Naval Veterans reunion who had booked this hotel for a reunion with 100 rooms. The first issue was with reservations as we had a group discount for registration. Way to many people had problems with their reservations even though we were on a separate group list. confirmations numbers where issued and room type guaranteed and upon arrival where not given what was booked especially for the handicap rooms. #2 was the Horrible food and kitchen service in the restaurant. The poor wait staff was subjected to the wrath of every one as the cook and internal kitchen could not cook more that 1 meal at a time and it was usually some thing wrong such as serving moldy bread to taking 1 hr 40 minutes for a chicken sandwich and it was cold and raw . Complaints to the level of the manager were met with remarks to Paying customers and even after meeting with the Hotel Department heads prior to the group coming to the hotel and we were guaranteed great service . WRONG
One person with a disability ( missing limb ) was laughed at by the front desk when he asked how he could stand up to take a shower with only one leg and had requested a Handicap room . American with Disabilities Act was not in effect at this hotel. Rooms had issues ranging from housekeeping not cleaning the rooms to multiple requests for rooms repairs like water leaking on the carpet to Electrical items not working and a request was asked to the front desk for 4 days in a row and the person in the room took it apart to get it working. House keeping was notified of the times which the group would be out of the hotel to get the rooms cleaned and every day some rooms were not done until almost 3 pm even with the Management's word that issues would be taken care of.
The only thing which saved this groups reunion on 170 people was the dedicated employee who was the catering director and personally was there every day & night to make sure that the two special events were done to the best of her ability and it showed. The apparent ownership ( new owner) has only the bottom line in mind and customer service is non existent and Profit is # 1 with him . Upper management would tell their employees to leave is they did not like how things were run even as they tried to do every thing in their power to correct the major issues for those staying there. They were very aware of the number of days and counts who would be at this hotel but chose not to staff it to accommodate the 100 out of 138 rooms we booked for our reunion
The Radisson name got one giant black mark from 170 people
