I travel to Minnesota on business quite frequently, and have been staying here for over a year now. I had stayed at other nice hotels around the area, there are quite a few, and found the Radisson offered the best accomodations. The restaurant is very good, a bit pricey, but the pizzas are worth it. There is a gas station around the corner that is open 24 hours for gas service, which makes fueling up that airport car rental easy. Leaving the gas station you make a left and that puts you on the interstate and only about 5 minutes from the airport.I would defintely suggest this hotel for anybody I know traveling to Minnesota via the airport.

The hotel overcharged my bill by over $300.00. I had to make over 10 calls to the hotel for a correction over a 10 days and as of today they have still not reversed the charges. STAY AWAY!!

Go if you like to blow money. The water park is over-rated, hotel overpriced. When we attempted to check in, along with dozens of other guests on Memorial Day weekend, their computers weren't working & apparantly they had no back up. We were told (for 21/2 hrs.) that repair people were on the way. The manager was extremely rude & uncaring, we were not offered anything for our inconvenience. When we returned home, I realized I had left a pair of earrings in the room, I emailed the hotel asking for their return, if found. They weren't worth much but I really liked them. My email was never even acknowledged. I've stayed at many motels, & I've been very pleased at places costing half as much. I would recommend this only as a way to blow your money. If you like water parks, go to Wisconsin Dells. They are better & so are the deals.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Radisson Hotel Bloomington By Mall of America.
I might recommend it to friends.

The rooms were very comfortable equipped with a great high definition TV.
The restaurants were very accomodating and large portions of good food.
The hotel staff was very nice. The hotel was located near the airport, Mall of America, IKEA, and had an attached water park with many activities. The only negative I found was the air conditioning system. It cycled on and off frequently which interupted sleep.

The size of the water park is exaggerated and is expensive. I had two 13 year olds with me who were bored after an hour. You have to walk through the lobby to get to the water park and you are not allowed to bring towels from your room or bring towels back to your room from the water park. There is no parking near an entrance. You have to park in the parking lot and walk to the main doors. I could not even always find an empty spot.
The only restaurant in the hotel did not have a kid friendly menu and was expensive. We were there three nights and our room was never cleaned well. The dirty glasses were left and not even replaced with clean ones. One of the bunk beds had dirty sheets when we arrived and the bedspread on the king bed had a big stain on it. The in-room refrigerator made noise all night and froze everything we put in it.
