Radisson Heritage Hotel

I would have expected more from a Radisson. The layout is very strange. It looks like there are two buildings to the hotel. They are connected by a glassed in breezeway with extremely old and dirty carpet. The doorways are so narrow to get to the breezeway, you can't get your luggage through the doors. I stayed in the older building and you could tell it was older. The carpets in the elevators were filthy and the walls were marked up. The doorways were also narrow. The carpets in the hallway looked newer but were dirty as well. The rooms are more spacious than other hotels I have stayed in but the bathroom was cramped and the closet was very small.

The hotel didn't call me for my wake up call one morning and I missed a business appointment. The wireless connection was weak at times and constantly disconnected.

I am moving out of this hotel and going to a Hampton Inn nearby to get out of the dirt.

The location was easy to find, and it provided all of the amenities that were needed for a business trip including wireless internet service.

It was close to our destination. The front desk staff was friendly.

This hotel made me feel respected: They said please and thank you and they said good morning to me as I came to the lobby.

All the employees were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean but a little old and worn looking. They had a very friendly and welcoming restaurant staff. The restaurant food was below expectations.

The room we were given smelt very bad, like a baby had been changed and never properly cleaned up after. There was not another room available and two different service people came and disagreed with us that there was an unpleasant smell. They put in a machine which was supposed to remove cigarette-smoke smell, which made the room smell worse. We ended up leaving the windows open all weekend and that mitigated the situation somewhat.

This hotel made me feel welcome: I was traveling with a group of hobbyists, who have a convention at this hotel every year. The hotel staff always welcomes us and treats us with respect.
