39 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
My husband and I stayed here on a business trip and it was fabulous. From the moment we checked in, we were treated like royalty. Although we experienced this hotel during a terrible cold snap, they do offer an outdoor heated pool but we weren't brave enough to try it. They offer a complimentary YMCA membership for guests which I found to be an unexpected bonus.
Oliver's (the restaurant) offered awesome cuisine with a staff that was nothing short of fabulous. And the best part about this historic, newly renovated hotel is the location, close to Bellingrath Gardens, Fort Conde and other Mobile attractions. All this, and a great room with all the comforts of home. Actually, I considered it better than the comforts of home!
This hotel did not live up to the Radisson name. I was expecting a quality hotel. The decor was very bland and too modernistic for a historical hotel. Where were the historial decorations, piano bar, etc. The rooms were attrocious. Wall paper...

Good
A lot of history has been made at this old hotel but the accommodations are luxurious. And if you are planning a trip to Mobile during Mardi Gras, then this is the hotel to stay in. The parades go right past your front door.
