This was the worst experience in a hotel in my whole life. Never heard of anyone's experience remotely close to the the one I had. Don't be fooled by the good reviews. Service is everything and this establishment's service defines a new all-time low.
I was expecting a package to arrive for me at the hotel at the exact same day I was checking out. The night before, I called front desk and said: "There is package arriving for me tomorrow morning, can I trust you guys to receive the package?". They said: "Sure, no problem". In the morning, before checkout, I contacted them again and got the same answer. I then checkout at 11 am and told them one more time that a package was arriving and that I was coming to get it at around 4 pm.
Well, I came back at 4 pm and my package wasn't there. I accessed UPS website and found out my package was refused by the receiver. I decided to go to management to report the problem. The funny thing is, I was in such a great mood, all I wanted was a sincere apology.
The management office was dead silent, clerks working silently. I approached one of them and told him my story. He coldly said: "We do not receive packages on the day of the checkout". I said "Oh, really? That was not what front desk told me, they made it clear that they would receive my package". The clerk just repeated himself over and over again.
I then asked him to call the manager. Reluctantly, the clerk went to the manager office and came back in 5 seconds. He told me the manager was busy and could not talk to me. I then asked him when would he be available to talk to me. He just repeated himself again "The manager will not talk to you, he is busy".
I decided to sit and wait for the busy manager, amazed at how inconsiderate they were. When I tried to talk to the clerk again, an angry woman told me to be quiet because she was on the phone. I swear I wasn't speaking loud. I kept talking to the first clerk and she stormed out his place and went to talk to the manager.
The manager finally appeared, a very angry man, almost out of his mind. He yelled "Sir, you must leave now!!". I said "can we talk outside?" and then he shouted, "no, I cannot talk to you, you must leave now".
I was in shock. Last time I checked I was a guest in the hotel. Never seen or heard of anything like it.
On top of all that, my wallet was stolen inside the hotel. It was recovered, but with no money inside. Lost 100 bucks! Thank God the credit cards were still there.
