This is an old property that has been converted to an all suite hotel. The rooms are dark and musty smelling. My room had mold on the bathroom walls. The fridge and microwave were old and dirty. Our room was not very clean and there was food left in

We arrived after a very long drive with what we expected to be a comfortable stay. We had planned on staying a couple nights until we found a mouse in our room. I went to the front desk and complained about the situation expecting some kind of resolution and was told they could not help and I would have to speak to management, but I was given a mouse trap and was told that everyone has this problem in the winter.
I went back to my room which had two double beds and pulled back the sheets to find the mouse and droppings in my bed. After again confronting the desk they said they could do nothing but refer me to the manager who was not present. I just wanted another room or some kind of refund so I could go else where for a peaceful night’s sleep. After talking with the manager-owner I was told they would send me something in the mail but could not reimburse my money. I am a commercial realtor and I would never refer or promote this facility or any other affiliations with this gentleman if this is his idea of customer service.
I am a business traveler who travels about 150+ days a year. I stay at a lot of hotels and try to find the nicest hotels in an area at a good price. I got the good price at this hotel, just not the good hotel experience. The hotel looks great...
