Someone attempted to get into our room. There should be a more secure lock. You have to walk outside to get to the main desk. It is not ideal for rainy or winter weather.

This place is wonderful. The hotel is spotless, and you are conveniently located next to Seminary Hill. The rooms are decorated with beautiful furniture and lovely civil war prints. For the ghost hunter, no need to go far - you are right there....

It’s a great location, with a great museum on-site and a good restaurant right there, as well. While there is quite a bit of traffic in the area being on the Chambersburg Pike, the rooms are far enough from the road where noise isn't an issue. It’s nice, quite, and perfect for a stay in this town, where amenities are secondary to visiting.
