41 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed two days and the front desk had the rudest person there I have ever met. It started the first day when she locked the juice dispenser at 10am sharp. When I tried to get a glass, she said sorry it was locked.
My 15 yr. old and his 16 yr. old cousin were in the weight room using the equipment. When they stepped out for a few minutes, she went over and locked the door. My wife had to talk with her for some time before she would open it up again.
Twice I had to go down to the front desk to have her reprogram the passkey. We would use it once or twice and it wouldn't work anymore. My 15 yr. old got up early Sunday morning to have breakfast with his cousins. The passkey wouldn't work so he asked her to reprogram it. We found out later that she was yelling at him and accusing him of using the wrong passkey. I went down a half hour later because my passkey wouldn't work. I reminded her that I was down there twice the day before so something must be wrong. She accused me of doing something to cause it to be screwed up. I assured her that it had been in my pants pocket all night. She then accused me of switching it with another room!
When I got back to the room, I was grumbling about it to my wife when she said that our son had complained about how she treated him. She went down there to discuss with her. She said it wasn't her problem, it was a housekeeping problem.
The hotel charged some of my family different rates for their rooms and she refused to change them. My brother had two different rates for the two nights he stayed, even though the AAA rate was $66 per night, they charged them $74 for the first night.
My dad had both knees replaced and they had been told they could have a 1st level room. When they got there, her answer was sorry, your room is on the second floor and we can't change that. They too were charged the higher rate and wee told by her that she couldn't change it.
My brother called the hotel and she told them that she didn't have anyone registered by that name, even thought there were three of our families registered in the hotel.
Lady, customer service is not your forte. Try a new line of work!
BEST STAY I HAVE EVER HAD! COMFORTABLE, CLEAN, FELT AT HOME!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...I WISH THERE WERE MORE OF THESE AROUND!! WE STAYED IN A WHIRLPOOL SUITE AND ALONG WITH THE TOWELS WERE THE MOST SOFT, LUXURIOUS TERRY CLOTH ROBES! I LOVED...
