My boyfriend and I needed a place to stay overnight near BART to travel into the city the next day and stumbled across this place. Extremely clean rooms, helpful and flexible help at the desk, clean breakfast (yogurts, fruits, pancakes, juices) and our favorite part:

While waiting for the shuttle to the airport (which goes to and from the airport every half hour 20 hours a day, free perk of this too), the manager asked where we were headed. We mentioned we were taking BART north to the city and he offered to personally take us to the station at San Bruno so we wouldn't have to pay the extra tax for taking the train at the airport. Extremely nice folks, and they really go the extra mile to make sure everything is right with their guests.

We had an interesting and wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, the staff was helpful and courteous, the breakfast was delicious. We arrived at 11:30 on a Friday night and while unloading our luggage from the elevator to go to our room on the second floor we managed to drop our rental car keys down the elevator shaft (both wired together of course--that's the way the rental car company gave them to us.)

The manager was so kind and tried everything he could think of to help us but other than an expensive emergency call to the elevator company there was nothing he could do to retrieve the keys. Fortunately, we had time in our trip schedule to stay until Monday when the elevator company could come out and get the keys back for us.

The manager extended our stay at less than the internet rate we were paying and helped us with maps and information about the free hotel to the airport shuttle, the BART system and the bus system to downtown San Francisco to sight see. We had an excellent stay at the Quality Inn and Suites and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the San Francisco airport area.

Excellent as airport hotels go. Nothing fancy but very clean, staff was very helpful, quick and efficient with check in and out.

The rooms are very neat and the staff very courteous.

I'll get straight to the point:

The hotel was clean, easily accessible, and best of all, QUIET. The rooms were also clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and courteous. The whole check-in process only lasted a few minutes and they went out of their way to find me directions and information for local sites. Within a few blocks, there are mini-marts for snacks, a few nice restaurants, and some fast food joints as well. Basically, food will not be a problem.

Now for some detail:

The hotel offers a hot breakfast in the morning. I was surprised to find waffles, eggs, sausage patties, and other foods. Most hotels I've stayed at only offer a "continental breakfast." There's coffee available 24 hours a day in the lobby, and a coffee machine in the rooms.

Now, for vacationers like myself, the hotel offers a shuttle service that will drop you off at the BART station at the airport. The BART is basically like the subway system for the bay area. Getting picked up and dropped off here made my ability to visit downtown SF easy and inexpensive. I'll be coming back to this hotel again.

I loved the service here. I forgot my cell phone at the hotel and they send it back to me without any complains. I thought that was really nice. One thing I didn't like was the breakfast. There were not a lot of choices and the same things every day! It was a great stay though.

It was clean, cheap and efficient.

The check-in staff wanted to share their cruise experience with us and us with them.
