This place looks absolutely goergeous in all of its advertisements and website. Upon arrival I was marvelled by the fountains (one outside and one in the lobby) and decor of the lobby. But almost instantly I was turned off by the sewage smell that almost knocked me off my feet when I turned the corner to go to my rooms. Upon arriving in my room I could tell that someone had recently sprayed some type of deoderizer to cover the mildew scent in the room. I looked carefully in the bathroom, and sure enough there was mold beneath the sinks and around the room in other areas. How grotesque! I was moved three times until I finally landed in a room that seemed decent enough for me to sit my things down in; or so I thought. After having fallen asleep exhausted from travelling up and down the long halls looking for a room, I was awakenedin themiddle of the night by a scratching sound on the wall over my bed. I looked up and there were huge roaches congregating over my head as I slept. Needless to say, couldn't wait until morning came so that I could get out of that dump. I cut my 3 day tenure short and moved to one of the other hotels in the area where the rooms were a lot cleaner and there was much better service.

This hotel may have been in a bad situation at one point before the renovation process. At the present time, the rooms are much cleaner; customer service at check in is on point; and the dining area and staff is marvelous!

The front lobby is gorgeous...however the rooms are very dated. They also had a distinct (and not so good) smell to them. I was not impressed by this nor by the price. I could have stayed at a much nicer place for less.
