We were traveling to Canada and wanted to stop for a break after sitting in bad traffic for several hours and we checked around and found that they were the only hotel around there that had a indoor pool and hot tub that is open this time of year....

52 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

It was a nice place to stay. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. I did not like to have to pay for ice though.

I am very likely to return to the Quality Inn Mt. Vernon.
I might recommend it to friends.

It was rundown and tired. We were in mt. Vernon for a family wedding and really didn't have much of a choice, but it was pretty drab. However, the breakfast was excellent.
