The reputation of Holiday Inn Express was ruined by this experience. Very nice and clean linens. That's all that was good. Place is so old and needs to be gutted if it wants to compete with any other motel.

Staff was extremely friendly. Made you feel like family. Lobby had been updated to feel warm and cozy. New private business area. Rooms worn, but clean. Service made up for the older furniture. Beds upgraded. And choice of pillows, soft and firm. I'm sure the new manager, Mr. Scott McDonald has alot to do with the improvement. He was very outgoing, and his positive attitude made check in fast and smooth. I'll stay there again.
This place was grotesque. It reminded me of fecal matter stuck to the bottom of my shoe, in the form of a motel. Room smelt of dead babies, at best. I wished to regurgitate on the floor of my room and leave it as a welcome present to the next...

Horrible
We traveled 14 hours straight and went to check in, on time. Apparently for the room we reserved, someone rents it like it is their own personal apartment. They were still in it and they told us that even tho we reserved the room with confirmation ...

This was one of the poorer Holiday Inn Express locations. The quality of rooms and the bathrooms was sub standard. An alarm clock in an empty room next door went off in the middle of the night. The staff could not open door, so I had to do it for them. I did not even get any compensation for the inconvenience. All they wanted to do before I got the door open was move me into a smoking room that reeked of smoke. I will never go back there. I will say that other locations I have stayed at were nice.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Quality Inn At The University.
I might recommend it to friends.
