Okay
The room was spacious.Dirty feeling to it, the rugs were stained. It is a great place to stay if you are traveling through or for a night. It needs maintenance cleaning and maybe a coat of paint and it would be more attractive.

54 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The young man at check in was very unfriendly. He did not greet us when we entered the lobby, we had to ask him if he could check us in. I could not read his writing and I had to ask the number of the room and then he started walking away and I had to ask him again. He pointed and said that at the end of the hotel. I did talk to the manager about the experience.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Quality Inn Arcata.

We checked in at 1am but were treated so nicely. Front desk clerk actually walked out to find us a parking spot near our room.Not enough seating in breakfast area, but not a real problem. Our stay was short but pleasant. We will stay again.

Clean room and quiet, but our check in person was very inconvenienced to have to leave the back room and actually process our registration. Very inhospitable behavior on his part. The rest of the staff and our overall stay was OK+
