Their rooms may be relatively cheap, but they absolutely screw you over with the phone charges.
I have been to hotels in New York and others in New Jersey, but none of them had the nerve to charge like this one.
They charge astronomical amounts for the phone. The only comforts and foods available are those that would be suitable for Indian families, and hence, the place is crawling with them. Unfortunately, for the tourist booking from Hotels.com, pappadums and curry aren't always what we want for breakfast.
The front desk does not instill any confidence, and they are quite dismissive. If you ask them to help you with something, you need to stand there and watch them, otherwise, they won't do it.
The wireless is very, very slow, flaky, and continually drops out. I couldn't get a decent connection for at least a few of the days that I stayed here.
But the best were the phone charges. They won't let you use the phone until you go and pay them money, but you would be far better off using a pay phone. I gave them 10 dollars, and made a twenty second call to a mobile in Pennsylvania. Only twenty seconds, I just got to a voicemail and hung up. Then I tried to make another call, and it failed. I asked the front desk what was going on - They said there was insufficient credit left for another call. What? A twenty second phone call takes up the majority of ten dollars??
I tried another 10 dollars (Yes, I am an idiot), and again, was only able to make one very short call (Less than one minute in length) before the entire 10 dollars was used up.
You guys have got to be kidding. I want my money back. I want to change to a different hotel. I don't want to stay in this pathetic hotel any more.
