I booked their "ADA Compliant" room, and it was not accessible in any fashion. The toilet was not attached to the floor, the shower chair (no shower though, just an old and very dirty inaccessible bathtub without a usable showerhead) was covered in what appeared to be feces. I had to use one of the only towels to cover it to use it as a counter, since they removed all the furniture and counters from the bath.
The room itself was extremely uncomfortable and horribly dirty, the bedding had curled up pubic hair embedded in the lint all over the household grade blankets, there was some sort of white powder coating everything, including the upholstered furniture.
The lamps all had spider webs in them, some were complete with spiders.
The people in the room next to me had their door wide open and I could see them preparing very large amounts of food. I so hope it was not for the restaurant, which I didn't visit because I was afraid to pass through what appeared to be either transients or "residents" congregating on the paths.
This was the second room that I was given in their "hotel". The first room I was booked into was flooded. The desk didn't apparently know about that, so a maintenance worker took my keycard away and switched me to another room. He did this while I waited outside.
On complaining to them upon checking into the Marriott, I was told that the room was compliant to Pre-ADA standards and that I should have come to the desk to complain within ten minutes.
This is a 17 year old law, it is inexcusable to call it accessible and then blame the customer for refusing to uphold their guarantee.
Do not stay here, ever.
