The pics on the website give a great impression and look very pleasing. If they were scratch and sniff you would NOT stay here. I came in town with my large family for 4 days and it was AWFUL. The carpet smelled like URINE and other bodily fluids. The bathroom was HORRIFIC. The hotel staff does not know the meaning of customer service. The Front Desk Clerk was racist and locked us out of our rooms. Another Front Desk Clerk made sexual advances; Management was BEYOND rude and DID NOT address any of our issues.

The hotel staff are the BEST. The hotel is clean and accessible to everything. I was from out of town and was made to feel right at home on a 5 day stay. The housekeeping crew is extra special and pay extra attention to details. I would stay here again when my travels take me in this area in the future and would recommend a stay to anyone who was heading their way.

It's a regular holiday Inn Express that is there for a quick stay when you are not going to make it home for the evening. Staff and service were as expected.

It was very enjoyable at Holiday Inn Express Chicago-Waukegan (Great Lakes Naval Base). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was kept up very nice and it was very clean.
