The hotel was ok, but nothing special. The only reason we stayed there was because it was close to the highway and we could escape the city quickly. The area didn't feel safe at all, the parking was poor (not much of it available). The hotel room was clean, but we didn't feel safe enough to do much exploring around the area. One bonus was that they did allow dogs! Definitely wouldn't stay there again if I had the choice...not so much because of the hotel, but just because of the hotel location. Although in all likelihood, I probably wouldn't stay in Winnipeg period, no matter the hotel!

I was driving by Manitoba on my way to visit some relatives in Toronto when I decided I was going to make a stop in Winnipeg. Having never been there I stopped at the first possible hotel that I located. I found myself staying at the Quality Inn, which was definitely fair in price. However, I felt that the service was a bit below standards. If you've read any of my previous posts, you'll know that I value service quite greatly. The problem that I had was that I was required to request items multiple times before they were delivered to me. I don't believe that is the correct procedure for customers to get what their seeking. So overall I was quite disappointed with the service. I checked in late at night and left early the next morning so I had no time to check out the location so regretfully I am able to comment on that.
