I made a reservation here online. From the pictures the property seemed pleasant. Upon check in the front desk was extremley rude. Did not inform me of where to park nor my room number. In fact was on her phone the whole time chatting away. The room I checked into was dirty! I went back and was told "sorry, some mistake" I requested a non-smoking room for my daughter. The room smelled like it had been smoked out all year. They sprayed fabreeze in it but afterall I could still smell cigar in my pillow that night. I decieded to go on a hunt the following morning for the best room in town with the most affordable/reasonable prices. I would not recommend this property to any of my friends or family.

I stayed here for 5 consecutive nights Mon-Fri. During my stay I experienced some bizarre activities at this Hotel. I experienced staff children and family taking over the pool from 11am-11pm, I watched a couple of shady car exchanges inthe parking lot, I watched what appeared to be prosititution taking place on the premises, my last day two different indian maids came to my room neither one of them ever cleaned it, one took all the linen off my bed, thru them on the floor and left them there, without ever making my bed or taking or replacing my soiled towels, I finially called the front desk at 330 in the afternoon wondering if they forgot about me, and the indian property manager and his wife came into my room mad at me???? For the most part, most of the staff were pleasant and helpful, but due to being a female and travelling generally alone, I dont think I'd stay here again. Even tho they have cameras on the parking lot, it was clear to me its in a bad neighborhood, with alot of weird activity. And, for especially a female, not safe to stay. No security present, I did see Greenville Police parking in the alley alot.

Good
I booked this place over phone with the idea that this place was close to ECU. But I thought it would have been in a shady neighbourhood, as it looked from a not so good comment posted online. But the Desk clerk had assured me that the comment was...

I am a non-smoker. I frequently stay at this hotel. The reasons are many fold. 1) The price is very good for the product 2) The staff has always been friendly and helpful from early in the morning to late at night 3) The rooms are quiet 4) I can park right in front of my room - very convenient 5) It's always clean 6) They have been working to update many of the finishes - nice new granite in bathroom 7) Not that its often, but when there are any issue with noise/"drama" in the parking lot or elsewhere the management immediately intervenes. 8) Convenient location if you are going over to the hospital 9) Free breakfast actually pretty good for a hotel

My stay at the Quality Inn was very pleasant. The only problem I had was not being able to dial out using the telephone in the room and when the problem was reported to the front desk, the problem was not acknowledged.
I am very likely
to return to the Quality Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
