We had a great stay. The staff was the nicest that we have encountered in a long time. Breakfast was awesome and rooms were very nice. Builiding is older, but newly renovated.
72 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I had made reservations to stay from Jan 27 for 5 days. I told them on making reservations, and upon check-in, that I would be staying one night, then entering hospital for surgery and my wife would be staying alone the remaining time. The first room they tried to give us was at the extreme rear and most isolated room in the motel. We requested and received a room on the interior courtyard. On Thursday night, at approx 8 pm, some drunk was beating on my wifes door trying to get in. My wife called the front desk and was told that the security was not on duty yet and they would tell them when they arrived. My wife called 9-1-1. Local police responded and one hour later the drunk returned and my wife called 9-1-1 again. At no time subsequent to the first call to the front desk, did security or management contact my wife and let her know they were watching the situation. I filed a complaint with corporate customer relations and they said it would be relayed to the motel. I have waited over two weeks and have not received one contact from anyone concerning my complaint. Deplorable!

The location was ok. But I was not impressed with the smell from cigarettes. It was the only room left after our other room lock did not work. Finding us a room was very quick.

Good
This hotel is closer to Ft. Benning and an easier ot commute then some of the others. Just becuase it is in Alabama don't let it turn you off. It is on 280 which wil take you into Benning with less traffic.
