The Day's Inn, Farmington, New Mexico is a very dirty hotel. We booked through the internet and really wished we hadn't. The first day there even though they knew we had 5 people, (2 adults and 3 children) in our room they insisted on only giving us two towels. When I asked for more they told me I could only have 2 because they couldn't give 5 per room. This I found really strange. Daily though I would make my way to the front desk and ask for more. The room was supposed to have a kitchenette but there was no dishes only a fridge and a microwave. I wasn't pleased. The last straw came when our room was not cleaned one day, we happened to come back to the hotel at 2 in the afternoon and left for the evening at 4:30. I stopped at the desk at that time and told the clerk that our room was not cleaned and have the maids put 5 sets of towels in our room. When we returned at midnight our room still was not cleaned so I went to the desk and was told we couldn't have clean towels. I would never recommend this hotel to another living soul.

We signed in late in the morning and then went on a sightseeing trip. The desk clerk invited us to have a cup of coffee and a roll even though our stay did not begin until that evening.
