with a budget, traveling for leisure
I rented 3 rms and had to cancel one of them, they cancelled the wrong one. The only rm available at our arrival was a Smoking one, it was terrible smelled like mold too!, they did change the rm the next day. The girls at the desk when we checked in were extremely rude. My husband asked where the other room was located and the guy at the desk yelled at him that he was on the phone! We think the "500" rms were at one time a banquet room that they turned into rooms. They are so unproportioned and there are pillars in the middle of the living rm and about a foot away from the bed! The shower sprayed out the tub. The continental breakfast is held hostage you are not allowed to bring it to your rm!? Never heard of that before. We took it to the rm anyway. There were 3 phones in the rm and none of them worked without playing with the cord to get the right position. We will NEVER stay at a Quality Inn anywhere.

59 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Four of us stayed at the Inn two nights for a girl's weekend. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean and the location was perfect. The price was excellent and definitely reflected the fact that it was an older facility. After reading some of the reviews from customers in 2005, I was a little nervous about staying there. We were all pleasantly surprised.

30 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
My family of six checked into the Quality Inn, located on 2250 Lincoln Hwy. East, in Lancaster, PA 17602 on August 20, 2007. The customer service upon check in was marginal. The lobby appeared to be outdated but clean. We hauled our stuff up the old elevator to our suite. Upon opening the door to our suite, we were in for a shock. The first room was surprisingly huge but very outdated and the layout was odd. We immediately noticed a musty smell. After setting our luggage down we noticed that the floor did not appear to be vacuumed, there was pieces of plastic and paper on the floor. The wallpaper was peeling off every wall. The carpeted border was falling off the wall. There was used tissue wadded up and left on the floor. It was disgusting. If that wasn’t bad enough, the bathroom was a disgrace! Upon walking into the bathroom I felt sick to my stomach after seeing such a disgusting mess. There was hair, dirt and miscellaneous debris all over the floor. It was obvious that the bathroom has not been cleaned in a long time. Beyond disgust they were also safety issues. There was an outlet located next to one of the beds that was burnt and looked like there was an electrical fire. The ceiling even leaked. We informed the customer service desk, but we were just blown off and pretty much ignored. Nothing was done. To make matters worse the beds were very uncomfortable. I could feel every spring in the mattress and the bed was slanted on one side, making it very difficult to one to stay put without falling off. I slept miserably with worry and discomfort! While the beds were made everyday, the mess was never cleaned, it remained. We stayed three nights. If we had the opportunity to stay at another hotel, we would have. We have stayed at many hotels, including Choice Hotels, and the Lancaster Quality Inn, is by far the worse! We will not be returning to that hotel in the future. In fact I don’t think that we would want to stay at any Choice Hotel after this horrendous experience!

The staff was very friendly and they wanted to make my stay more enjoyable.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Quality Inn.
I might recommend it to friends.

Poor

by a traveler from Huntingdon Valle, PA
32 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The outside doors were wide open, so it was very unsafe. The room was moldy, smelly, and dirty. The refrigerator didn't work and the ceiling was moldy. The air conditioner barely worked. There was a long line at check in and there was no air conditioning in the lobby. It was a horrible stay and I would never stay there again - ever.
I am very likely
to return to the Quality Inn.
I might recommend it to friends.

The location was perfect since it was across the street from Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park and we were traveling with two small children. The room was clean and had a refrigerator.
I am very likely
to return to the Quality Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
