They had a cheap set-up and was too expensive. I asked for a fridge and was I denied it, despite the fact that I requested for one when I booked my room!

I think if it is very late and you must check-in (such as when the weather forces you to stay indoors), they should offer somewhat of a discount. The room is going to be empty, anyway, so something should be better than nothing.
