Horrible

If you are unfortunate enough to be booked here,RUN!!!!!!!!!!

The place is a pig sty, wall paper coming off the walls, stains on the carpet, tiles coming up in the bath. Their maintenance tool is duck-tape; on the rugs, on the doors, everywere.

The staff is totally unresponsive and could care less about you except your wallet. We had to ask three times to get toilet paper and this was right after they serviced the room.

Don't eat in the restaurant, we saw the cook and all the staff handleing the food with no gloves. They used plates over again without washing them, picked food off the counter and threw it back in the pot.

This place is absolutely repulsive. RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN

Located in the heart of Europe’s Art & Culture capital, the Quality Hotel Glasgow is situated in an ideal location for those seeking to enjoy the city’s theaters, shopping district, and historical buildings.

Housed in an old train station, the building’s beautiful Georgian architecture catches the eye right off. The lobby is quite large, with a shiny marble floor and sweeping staircases. There are four guest elevators as well. Because of the nature of the building’s original purpose, the hallways are quite long and it may take you a bit to reach your room. Inside, you’ll find clean beds, lots of fluffy towels, cable television, and a full tea/coffee service tray.

The onsite restaurant offers buffet-style breakfasts and dinners. It’s quite a large food line, so there’s a lot of variety. We found all the food to be cooked well and quite flavorful, especially the fish. However, at breakfast, many of the foods were fried (as is the local custom), so you may choose to stick with the fruit and cereal offerings. Although it is buffet dining, the hostess did offer to fetch the chef to discuss alternate dining options.

The hotel staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their city, as well as first aid procedures (which we needed to take advantage of while there, due to a clumsy moment on my part).

At last check, the hotel’s fitness center was closed due to damages received during a flood, but the indoor pool is very nice, as is the exercise room.

All in all, it’s a nice hotel for a few nights’ stay, but in the end is rather forgettable.

Not a good place to stay Tucson – Posted Nov 24, 06

If you are looking to stay in a very old hotel, then this is for you. If on the other hand, you want to stay in a comfortable hotel with modern features, really nice rooms, great views, up-to-date plumbing, hot and cold running water, lifts that work 24/7, well maintained, helpful friendly staff, nice bar to relax in, internet connection in every room, comfortable beds, clean linens, smoke free smelling rooms, then this is not the hotel for you. It’s the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in, no value for the money, except for the full Scottish Breakfast each morning, Stay away.

I am not likely to return to the Quality Hotel Glasgow.
I would not recommend it to friends.
