The management here was very rude and unhelpful. I waited at the front desk for five minutes while the manager carried on a seemingly unimportant conversation with the front desk clerk (which involved a condescending critique of said clerks actions), and when she finally spoke to me she seemed very annoyed that I had interrupted her. I had to wait while the apparently overworked housekeepers finished my room at four-thirty, half an hour after the check-in time of 4:00. There was no one at the front desk the second time I arrived, just a sign that said "back in five minutes." I waited for fifteen and then left. On my way out I saw the front desk girl smoking outside with a fellow employee. The morning of the second day I requested ice and coffee, and waited almost forty-five minutes before it arrived. By then I was on my way out, without my morning coffee. The rooms apparently don't get checked after they are cleaned, as I also found an old coffee filter in the machine and many hairs in the bathtub. I requested to speak with the manager, and was told she would get back to me, as she was "away for the day", but she never did. I spoke to an employee who was candid in admitting that the resort was understaffed and the employees were overworked. Given that management treats its guests badly, I imagine staff are even worse off. Overall, the location of this hotel was wonderful, but I have never experienced such bad management.
