Conveniently located just off of I-80 on Exit 6, the Prairie Inn Motel was a great deal. Super clean, large rooms with 60+ cable stations on TV, plus free wi/fi access makes this a good place to stay. The owners were very friendly and their dogs were a joy. A good restaurant is just a block away and the lobby is spacious and well appointed with a warm fireplace. The spotlessly clean bathroom was large and well lit and their was plenty of closet space near the sink area with the large mirror. The room I stayed in had both outside and inside access. The ice and vending machines are in a second lobby at the center of the motel complex. Parking is just outside the room for easy access. The one story plan of the motel means no dragging luggage up and down stairs or from across a parking area. It was quiet and the parking area and outside of the motel is well lit at night. I really liked that I could step out one door and get something from my car or step out the other door to get some more ice through the inside hallway. The rate was great, I priced the Holiday Inn Express and they wanted $115 plus tax and the Prairie Inn was only $53 including tax. A great find!!!
