Excellent
I stayed here for business and will definitely come come back for fun. Loved the location - in the heart of downtown, short walk to wharf, and just off the trail that takes you to Cannery Row and the beach.

Excellent
I can't be happier with the hotel room and the staff. I have stayed here many times and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when I come to Monterey County. The rooms are decorated beautiful, the location is perfect.. just leave the car parked....

53 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This hotel is only good for one thing, which is its location. It is great for families, and seniors. But if you are looking for a nice quiet place, then this is not the place.
Our room was very small. We paid well over $255.00 per night. We were on our 25th wedding anniversary. We had to change rooms the second day. We could not sleep between all the kids screaming and the flocks of birds (seagulls) all over the place, the noise from the birds was real bad, and then the seals would bark. This went on all night to the morning. This was a period about between 12 am and 3am that it was OK. But then all of sudden you wake up to the sounds of seals, and seagulls. Too much money, stay in Carmel, its a much nicer place to visit.
