It was a very pleasant experience. I especially appreciate that they accept pets and still maintain a beautiful atmosphere. I got the pet room and expected things to be of a lower quality, but it was fantastic.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: Their use of high quality materials (bed linens, architectural materials, etc).

The rooms are excellent, large and comfortable. The Portofino is a unique hotel.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: It's a five star hotel, which I would never stay at under normal circumstances.

Our room had no lights and when I tried to call I had a person on the phone who did not speak English and did not understand what I was saying. When I finally got a person to speak to they sent someone up two hours later.
