This is a nice facility. I liked the great location and the pools. Overall, it's a good value. Checking in was slow -- we waited two hours for our two club rooms to be ready. The hotel needs better maid service; otherwise, it's a splendid facility.

The staff could not provide glassware. The lights, TV, and stereo were unplugged - all of which were behind a large entertainment unit. There was a run-around on getting tickets to Universal Park, which were included in our hotel package.

We loved this hotel, it was better than the on-site hotels we have and did stay at in Disney. From now on we will only stay at a Loews Hotel in Florida and travel to other destinations. The concierge level was fabulous!

I am a Loews Gold member. I enjoy staying at these hotels because upgrades are available.

I thought the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location was great, within walking distance to city walk and both Universal parks.

We love the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando; it was our second time there. The service is as expected for us. We like being right on the Universal property with plenty of things to do. And the front of the line pass is great.

Our room had no lights and when I tried to call I had a person on the phone who did not speak English and did not understand what I was saying. When I finally got a person to speak to they sent someone up two hours later.

It was the best vacation I ever had. I would recommend it to anyone. A businessman that actually lives in Florida was staying there as a 'local get-away' for his family, and told me it was the best hotel Orlando had to offer, including any of the Disney locations.

This hotel made me feel important: Employees always had eye contact with us and said 'Hello', even when just passing in the hallways. No problems with service. Using key card for payment at onsite restaurants and at universal parks.

It took too long to rectify the problem with the rooms not being ready - approximately 4 hours. And a complimentary drink was not going to make up for an afternoon wasted. To get the upgrade was too much of a fight.

It was a very pleasant experience. I especially appreciate that they accept pets and still maintain a beautiful atmosphere. I got the pet room and expected things to be of a lower quality, but it was fantastic.

We were placed in a handicap accessible room without the staff first asking permission. Neither of us are handicapped. Breakfast was delicious and offered at a fair value.

Broken glass on bathroom floor, safe did not work, room service terrible, dirty coffee cups, among other things - and they only gave us 1/2 off 1 night's stay.

The security issue concerns me. Both my assigned room mate (corporate function) and I had problems with our room keys not working on two separate occasions. Neither one of us was asked for ID.

I was to get an upgraded room through my wife's meeting group, as she was coming to make a site visit. I was not upgraded because the meetings coordinator at the Loews 'could not find my reservation', even though I had no problems at check-in.
