I love the romantic feel of the Portofino Bay Hotel! It is a gorgeous hotel! If you are going to Universal, you must stay at this hotel!

It's a great location, the new rooms were nice but already showing signs of wear and tear. The rooms could have been cleaner. Mama Della's is the best restaurant in Orlando.

My family loves to stay at the Portofino hotel because it is elegant and it has exceptional service.

This is a destination hotel representing an Italian seafront village. Its pool is large with a sandy beach and waterfall, exceedingly fun. Nearby is a Universal Studios theme park and it is an easy walk or boat ride to the park.

The staff was not very caring about the guests.

It was a beautiful hotel. We were all pleasantly surprised and the pool was much more than we expected. I loved the restaurants and the ease of transportation to the theme parks.

I liked the efficient staff, the cleanliness, the quality and the ambiance. I did not like that in the bathroom there were some amenities missing. Otherwise, I had no dislikes.

It was very convenient to the park, although we had to take a boat ride and there was sometimes a wait for that. We felt like it was overpriced, but I suppose that is to be expected in a resort area. Also, we had to pay for parking, which I found interesting considering the room rates. The room was very comfortable, especially the pillows. The bathroom was remarkable as well.

It's a very cute hotel! I really enjoyed my stay. The boat to City Walk was very convenient. My only problem was that I was charged for a mini bar item that was not mine. Luckily the hotel reversed the charge for me.

They added an eighteen percent tip to my bill at the deli where you stood in line to order food, plus tax. It is the hotels' policy to do so as a resort! Everything was overpriced at Universal!

The location was wonderful. It was convenient to the convention center, and close to the Universal Studios parks and City Walk. There was a ferry which took you right to the theme parks, and if you chose to walk, it was only about ten minutes. The concierge was helpful, as were the valets and front desk workers. The food was overpriced, but most of it was acceptable. The breakfast buffet was not up to par, with the food not remaining hot. Our only difficulty was with our room key. After we had it replaced for the third time, we finally just used the key to our other door, we had a suite with two rooms. I would say the service was above average, but not exceptional. Anyone else staying in this hotel should definitely plan to visit Universal Studios and the Islands of Adventure. The perk of being able to use your room key for admittance to the express lines on all the rides was fabulous!

The Portifino Bay Hotel in Orlando, Florida was beautiful. The beach pool was amazing, and I highly recommend the slide.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: You could order all kind of things to be delivered to your room including jewelry, electronics, clothing, and handbags. There were many pools to choose from.

My family has stayed here and we just love it. The hotel is beautiful and has an italian decor. We stayed club level and we found it to be well worth it. It entitles you to free breakfast, snacks throughout the day and evening cocktails. We were able to come in and grab pops and leave which was nice. The rooms are nice size and have a huge bathroom. It is a ferry boat ride away from the parks. And the best part is you get front of the line access on every ride with your room key.

We ate at mama dellas which was awsome. Try it you will not be disappointed. The pools are good. My kids loved the pool with the slide. Also try Sals pizza it is really good.

We loved the bedding. We ended up getting the bedding for our house.

I liked the decor and the friendly staff.

The beds are wonderful, the rooms were spotless, the concierge lounge staff was agreeable, and items were available. Star service is excellent -- all front desk staff, concierge staff, food staff, housekeeping were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
