The location of our Ground floor unit was beyond our imagination. All you could see was the gorgeous blue water and all you could hear was the gentle crash of the waves. The bedrooms where up front so we went to sleep with gentle sound of the waves and woke up with them too. If you go to Maui to be by the Ocean this is the place. We can't wait to go there again. We have stayed at Polynesian Shores as a family for over 15 years. We typically go every year. Last year we decided to book our stay directly through one of the owners versus through the main office. It was a monumental mistake to book Greg Salmon's condo at Polynesian Shores. We unfortunately had to cancel our yearly trip and notified him over 8 months in advance. We have now been waiting almost a year for the return of our over $1500 deposit. He made claims that were not true, and he is using stall tactics to avoid returning my deposit. At the time of booking he had no policy in place to withhold my deposit. I have talked to numerous others who have been scammed by Greg Salmon of West Maui Condo Rentals. Polynesian Shores is convenient to GREAT spots for snorkeling and sightseeing. The restaurants in Lahaina are fantastic. The Feast at Lele Luau is not to be missed (book before you travel). The snorkeling at the Sheraton is great for beginners and experts alike...easy in and easy out. You will be amazed by the views from the lanai at Polynesian Shores
