The modern, centrally located and welcoming, 3-star Polonezas Pan Tadeusz Hotel (Panos Tados in Lithuanian) offers guests the opportunity to enjoy Vilnius with most historical and cultural sights easily reached on foot. Designed in a contemporary style, the hotel's 36 spacious guest rooms are equipped with satellite television, telephone and air-conditioning as standard, whilst public areas offer an excellent and elegant restaurant, bar and sauna/Jacuzzi. The Pan Tadeusz's location allows guests to stroll to the Old Town in no more than 15 minutes (both the bus and train stations are similarly within 10 minutes walking distance) and for those guests arriving by car, there are complimentary parking facilities. In our opinion, this is an excellent product offering real value for money.

Having never been to Vilnius before I only knew that Lithuanians were a little more simple in terms of design (you could imagine yourself in the 1970's in some places) and though my room was basic, it was clean.
There were several things broken, the shower head, the TV remote, and the wardrobe door. But at this price, can you really complain over such things? The hotel was a little tricky to find as it is listed as the Polonezas Hotel, yet when you arrive the sign reads Ponas Tadas, referring to their restaurant.
When traveling there ,I advise you simply tell the taxi driver the street name: 76 Naugarduko Gatue. The area isn't very nice, but when you walk or take a taxi into town you will see much nicer architecture. I stayed for 8 nights and my room was cleaned only once, on the second day, which seemed a little odd. There is loud music on Saturday nights until late.
The receptionists varied in their helpfulness and customer satisfaction is not really a big part of Lithuanian life. They are more practically minded. But if you are nice to them, they usually return in kind.
Its not a bad hotel, but if you want a nicer all round experience it may be better to pay more and stay a little closer to the city centre.
